Lindsay Ternovatsky // Branding, Marketing & Web Design Studio St. Albert

about

My background is in visual communication design, fine art, marketing + web development.

I work with clients to elevate their brand by bringing it to the next level on a variety of platforms.

Over the last 18 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in both the public and private sector as well as a freelancer for my own company. Clients that I’ve had the pleasure of working with range from architects and home builders, to large and small retail companies, as well as industrial companies, non-profit organizations, and the municipal government in both Alberta and British Columbia.

Born and raised in Penticton, British Columbia, I made the move to Edmonton in 2002 to attend the University of Alberta on a sports scholarship for field hockey. The U of A was a draw not only because of the athletic opportunities but for the Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications Program. I’ve also completed the Web Application Development certificate program from NAIT as well as courses from the U of A’s Master of Arts in Communication and Technology program.

I also have a strong interest in technology and health care as I focused in 2014 on Masters level coursework on parents of neonates and their time spent in the NICU and how connecting with online communities can alleviate stress. I have spent time at the BC Children's Hospital, The Stollery Children's Hospital, The Alberta Children's Hospital and The Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver, studying how hospital NICUs and their social programs operate differently.
